WHO ARE YOU?
We’re a bunch of fantasy football fans, miniature wargamers and tabletop nerds, running the biggest, most successful Blood Bowl League in the Westcountry (these claims are unverified).
In our recent season we had 24 coaches playing; mostly Bath-based but with players coming in from Chippenham, Devizes, Westbury, Keynsham and Bristol.
The league has elite players with decades of experience as well total newbies learning the game for the first time, and spans all ages from kids all the way up to grandparents.
WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU PLAY?
It’s a super flexible and primarily pub-based league – you can play whenever and wherever suits!
During the main season, we schedule one game round every 3 weeks. Once you know your opponent, you find a time and place to meet up and play – although we sporadically try to put on semi-organised ‘club nights’ where we might have up to half-a-dozen games playing at the same venue.
We’re usually playing at The Bear (Bear Flat), Velo Lounge (Oldfield Park), The Raven, or Thirsty Meeples – but anywhere with a large table can work, and coaches do host games at their homes sometimes.

Heck yeah! New coaches are always welcome, whether this is your first foray into the ridiculous world of Blood Bowl, if you’re a returner who hasn’t picked up a set of Block Dice for 20 years, if you’re an online players who likes the idea of venturing into real minis and dice, or if you’re an experience veteran who just didn’t know there was a local league going on – get in touch.
Season 7 kicks off in late September and will run until summer 2027.
